The Life Quality Project is a free community initiative. We collect as little about you as we can get away with, we never sell anything, and we never sell or rent your details to anyone. This page explains, in plain language, exactly what happens to the information you choose to send us.
The short version
You only give us personal details if you choose to fill in a form. We use those details to reply to you and, if you asked for it, to keep you posted by email. You can unsubscribe or have everything deleted at any time by emailing hello@lifequalityproject.org.
What our forms collect
This site has three forms, and each one collects only what it shows:
- Get-involved form — your name, your email address, how you would like to be involved, and an optional message.
- Contact form — your name, your email address, and your message.
- Newsletter sign-up — your email address only.
There are no accounts, no passwords, and no payment details anywhere on this site — nothing here costs money, so we never ask for payment information.
What we use your details for
Two things, and only these two:
- To respond to what you sent — answering a question, following up on an offer to volunteer or host, or thanking you for a shared resource.
- To keep you posted by email, if you joined the newsletter or asked to stay in the loop.
We do not use your details for advertising, we do not build profiles, and we do not add you to any list you did not ask to join.
How your message reaches us
Our forms are delivered by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), an independent form-forwarding service. When you press send, FormSubmit receives what you typed and forwards it to our inbox at hello@lifequalityproject.org. FormSubmit processes your submission for that delivery under its own privacy terms, which you can read on formsubmit.co. We chose this arrangement because it means your message travels as ordinary email — no database of yours sits on this website.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no tracking cookies of its own and runs no analytics scripts of its own. Two honest caveats:
- Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those font files from Google's servers when a page loads.
- If you arrived here by clicking an advertisement, the advertising platform that showed it to you (for example, Google Ads) may use its own cookies or identifiers to measure that click. Those belong to the platform, are governed by its privacy policy, and are not something this site reads or controls.
How long we keep things
Messages stay in our email inbox for as long as we need them to respond and follow up. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. When details are no longer needed for either purpose, we delete them. We do not keep information "just in case".
Your choices
- Unsubscribe — email hello@lifequalityproject.org with the word "unsubscribe" and we will take you off the newsletter promptly.
- Deletion — ask us to delete everything we hold about you, and we will do it and confirm by reply.
- Access and correction — ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, any time.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. We will never change the essentials quietly: no selling of details, no lists you did not ask for.
